The Story About Namobudha
Once upon the time, the king brought three princes to the jungle for sightings. Three princes climbed up the mountain and got into a cave. They saw a mother tiger just gave birth to seven baby tigers. She looked very weak and couldn’t go out to find some foods for her baby tigers. Three princes thought she would eat her babies sooner or later. Then the third prince asked. What would they eat usually? Then the older prince said, “they eat fresh meat. But nobody offers them.
When three princes left the cave, the third prince returned alone. He used his body to feed with those tigers so that they would not be hungry, and the mother tiger would not eat her babies. At that time, the third prince compassionately offered his body; in fact. he was the Buddha’s past life. Nowadays, the holy mountain and cave have become the famous and popular pilgrimage places for Buddhism, recent place is in Namobuddha, Kabre, district in Nepal.

A long time before, there was a king named Great Charioteer(Shingta Chenpo) he was lived in the small town of Kabre district of Nepal. He ruled over the kingdom of several towns. they were really happy and peaceful in that kingdom, and The king had become three sons; the oldest was called Great Sound (Dra Chenpo); the middle Great Deity (Lha Chenpo), and the youngest one is Great beings ( Sempa Chenpo). One day while the weather was very great, so they planned to go sighting, then the King with Queen, Sons, and ministers have left the town for a sighting to the hillside. The king and queen were riding on the elephant and the Sons and others were mounted on beautiful horses.

After half a day's rode, they arrived at the place of very thick forests with birds-chirping and blossoming varieties flowers, then The king was pleased with the scenery and ordered to stop here for relaxing and celebrating. then Workers and everyone immediately Set up the tents and everything set up. and very soon the ground was full of tents. Then the cookers are started cooking and preparing a variety of foods, teas. The young people started to sing a song, dance, and play a different game. The King and Queen were enjoying them.

Then he asked his brothers, what types of food do they eat usually? and can we save their life? Brothers said This tigress eats the fresh-meat and Warm-blood of another animal. So if you wish to help them then you should find a fresh flesh. Then Great Being put his hand on his chick and think for a moment. In fact, if really that to save the tigress and her cubs needed fresh flesh and blood. But then I have to kill other animals, and that will means killing one to save others. What something else can I do better. he thought for a long while but didn’t find a better solution.
Finally, he decided generous his body to tigress
Then his brothers said. This is the nature of the world, thus you may no need to worry too much about these cases. Okay, It’s time to go back to our parents. And so they were leaving as he followed his brothers back to the encampment, Immediately Great Being thought in his mind, For a long time, I have been in this world so many lifetimes, but only wish enjoyment and wandering by desire, hatred, ignorance, it seems to be wasting countless lives. I have rarely encountered such a great opportunity to accumulate merit like this. If I can’t utilize my body to benefit others then there is no meaning to be born in humans. so finally he decided, at this time, I must be truly generous or benefit through this body to others.

Then he took the way to the tigress and cubs. When he reached to the hungry (starving) tigress, she was so exhausted.that she couldn’t even open her mouth. Then Great-Being reached out his hand to touch her forehead. she was so weak and she could not even roll her eyes, So the princes took a bigger sharpen Thorne from a nearby tree and insert his body to draw the blood from his body, which the tigress can lick and she can eat his flesh. Not long after, she opened her mouth and rushed to eat his all flesh.

The two brothers waited a long time, but the youngest prince did not come back, so they tried to find him and thought once about what he had said before, they hadn’t doubt that he had returned to the tigress’s cave. When they reached and looked inside the cave, there was nothing left of their brother but only drops of blood, bones, and clothing. The tigress had eaten him. At this seeing, Great Sound and Great Deity immediately lost consciousness( fainted), it took a long time to recover back their senses. When their sense came back, then The two princesses sobbing with deep sadness to returned to their parent‘s encampment.
The Queen was dreaming about three pigeon
During this time, the queen was taking a short nap and she was dreaming about three pigeons flying high in the sky. As they fluttering around, a hawk struck and carried off the smallest one.
Then she woke up with a beating heart. Then the queen immediately told the king about her dream. He said, hearing your story, I believe the three pigeons are our 3 sons. The youngest of them, carried off by the hawk, is my beloved son. I’m sure that something frightful has happened, the king immediately sent out the military to find everywhere for his son.

Soon, the two princes had arrived back, then the king asked, Did something bad happen? They Choked up with sadness and said to their parents, that the tigress had eaten Great Being. While they heard this terrible news, the queen has fainted. And The king was too upset with immense sorrow. After a long while, the king, queen and all are them rushed to the place where the youngest prince had died. When they reached the cave, they just found the bones, blood, and clothing, while seeing this a queen fainted down again and again.
Prince already had been reborn in Tushita-heaven
But the prince had been reborn in Tushita-heaven as a Great brave-heart (Nyingtob Chenpo). He was a wonder, What did I do to be reborn here in the celestial realm of Tushita heaven? Through his clairvoyance and god's eye, can see the six realms and their past lives. Great brave-heart can felt and saw his parents and brothers were so sunk in great sorrow and miserable. he thought, My parents, are so upset. I might hurt them too much. I better go talk and make them feel lighter and easier, then he descending from space to the lofty of the sky and spoke words of inspiration to his parents and brothers:
The End of birth is Disintegrate
hello, I am the prince of Great Being. after i offered my flesh in Generosity to the starving Tigress, I reborn in the celestial realm of Tushita Heaven. while they heard this, the king and queen eyes with tears and said you are like our heart, giving your body to the tigress was excellent and praiseworthy. But we are really upset to lose you and missing you, who can understand our sorrow? Great-brave-heart said, Please do not be so upset. The End of birth is Disintegrate, and the end of the gathering is separation; No one can escape from this, it is the nature of the world. One day It will be the same for everyone. If you do evil actions, you will fall into the hell realms; if you do virtuous actions, you will be reborn in the higher realms.

The king and queen became to feel a little easier. they did the commitment to do virtuous action, then They made up a small casket and put princesses bones, hair, and clothing with seven kinds of jewels inside the casket.then they built a stupa for buried his son's bones and clothing which the place is the holy mountain and cave has become the famous and popular pilgrimage places for Buddhism, recently it is in Namobuddha, Kabre, district in Nepal. around 30 to 40 kilometers from Kathmandu.
